Ultrapool Creative Mode

Creative Mode is the Halloween update's sandbox: any balls, any snacks, test anything. Officially, you unlock it by beating an All-Nighter.

What Creative Mode does

The official v0.17.2 patch note describes it exactly: "Beat an All-Nighter to unlock the Creative Mode that lets you freely test build ideas. Get any ball and snack combinations you want and see how much they would score!" In other words: a sandbox for the game's build theory, without shop luck.

How to unlock it

Beat an All-Nighter — the hardest difficulty. That means climbing a set's ladder to its final step and surviving the long run; the All Nighter guide covers the approach and the difficulties page covers the ladder.

How to use it well

  • Prototype before you commit: test whether two effects actually feed each other before hunting them in a real run.
  • Check patch changes: when notes say 'Eyeball nerfed', Creative Mode is where you feel what that means for your engine.
  • Test fusion results: fusion outcomes are not published, so the sandbox is the honest way to see what a pairing produces.
  • Rehearse late-round pressure: build a table the way round 8 would look and see if the engine holds.

Creative Mode was added in v0.17.2 (5 Oct 2026). Whether sandbox runs count toward achievements, saves or leaderboards is not documented — assume they are for testing, not progress.
